Apple released a slew of new items last month, including the iPhone 15 series. Tim Cook, the company’s CEO, who has given numerous interviews since the event, arrived on the agenda with a new iPhone announcement. The prominent celebrity responded to the perplexing issue, “Why does a new iPhone come out every year?” Here’s his response!
iPhones will be carbon neutral in 20-30 years!
With its yearly event, Apple unveils the latest iPhone model. Finally, the iPhone 15 series debuted at an event last September. However, the question arises as to why a new iPhone model is released every year, despite the fact that the design and some functionality are comparable.
Tim Cook discussed why an iPhone is released every year.
In an interview, Apple CEO Tim Cook responded to this question. Cook was asked a topic that probably everyone was pondering during the interview: Do we need a new iPhone every year? According to the CEO, consumers are allowed to update their phones once a year.
“I think it’s fantastic to offer an iPhone to anyone who wants one every year.” We allow people to trade in or refurbish their phones. And if the phones are still functional, we resell them.
He went on to add that the company has discovered a technique to disassemble the phones and obtain the materials needed to create a new iPhone. He was, however, asked what iPhones would look like in 20-30 years. The CEO’s response was as follows:
“I believe it will be carbon-neutral.” Obviously, I believe it will be much further ahead than it is now, but I don’t want to reveal all of our secrets. I can only say that it will be environmentally carbon neutral.”
