THE ALEF AERONAUTICS FLYING CAR HAS BEEN CERTIFIED AND WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON!

Alef Aeronautics’ Alef Model A flying automobile has earned a special certificate of airworthiness from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States. The Armada Model Zero is a forerunner of the Model A prototype, which will be presented in October 2022. Alef Aeronautics has been dedicated to developing the world’s first flying automobile since its inception in 2015. The Alef Model A was the first to be approved for public demonstrations, and it is notable for its capacity to operate both on the ground and in the air. The FAA is actively developing standards for electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOLs), and Alef’s certificate of airworthiness restricts where and why it may fly.

The flying car will be classified as a “low-speed vehicle,” which means it will be limited to 25 mph on paved roads. However, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration must still approve the Alef before it can be put on the road. The car has been under development since 2015, and the business expects to begin manufacturing and delivery of the Model A, which will cost $300,000, by the end of 2025. The electric variant may be pre-ordered for $150 on the Alef website.
