New Assistant on Android: Gemini is Launching!

Google has announced that it has overcome the biggest obstacle preventing Gemini from being used as an alternative to Google Assistant on Android devices. Gemini can now be set as the default assistant on your Android phone and controlled by voice commands.

Gemini offers many advantages over Google Assistant, including faster response time, more natural language processing and a wider range of information. In addition, Gemini is open source, allowing developers to add new features and functionality.

Google Gemini

Follow these steps to set Gemini as the default assistant on your Android device:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Go to Language and input.
  • Click on Advanced.
  • Find the default assistant option and select Gemini.
Google Gemini

Google has announced that Gemini will continue to improve and add new features. In the future, Gemini is projected to completely displace Google Assistant and become the most popular assistant for Android devices.
