Honeywell boosts Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity with new Himaya Center

Honeywell has taken a major step to support Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals with the launch of the Honeywell Himaya Center in Jubail. Announced at the IKTVA Forum in Dhahran, this cutting-edge facility aims to provide robust industrial cybersecurity solutions tailored to critical sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and utilities.

The Himaya Center delivers Managed Security Services (MSS) powered by Honeywell’s proprietary Cyber Insight and Cyber Watch software. These tools not only ensure compliance with National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) regulations but also integrate AI and automation to help businesses stay ahead of emerging cyber threats. By providing localized solutions, the center supports Saudi Arabia’s focus on building self-reliance and aligning with its Vision 2030 goals.

The stakes are high

Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity market is expected to grow from $3.6 billion today to $10.5 billion by 2032, fueled by increased reliance on cloud technologies, the surge in cyber threats, and the Kingdom’s ambitions to become a global tech hub. Honeywell’s new center is strategically positioned to address these challenges while driving industrial automation and operational efficiency across key industries.

A legacy of commitment

With over 70 years of presence in Saudi Arabia, Honeywell continues to be a driving force behind the Kingdom’s technological advancement. Beyond cybersecurity, the company’s training programs equip Saudi nationals with essential skills in energy, aviation, and automation, supporting a knowledge-based economy and a sustainable future.

Why this matters

This launch is more than just another milestone; it represents a crucial step toward fortifying Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure while fostering local talent and economic growth. As the Kingdom accelerates its industrial transformation, the Himaya Center ensures it can tackle the complexities of modern cybersecurity with world-class solutions.
