London, UK — euNetworks has announced the appointment of Giancarlo Ferro as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 23 March 2026. Ferro will be based in London and will lead the company’s financial strategy.
Ferro joins euNetworks with more than 30 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles across the telecommunications and broader technology sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Information Officer and Chief of Staff at FLAG (formerly GCX).
He will transition into the role with the support of euNetworks’ current CFO, Katherine Alexakis, who has led the company’s finance organisation since 2021. During her tenure, Alexakis played a key role in euNetworks’ equity recapitalisation in 2024.
Commenting on the appointment, Ferro said he was looking forward to joining euNetworks at a time of continued growth and expansion, highlighting the company’s role in delivering critical connectivity infrastructure across Europe.
Marisa Trisolino, Chief Executive Officer of euNetworks, said Ferro’s experience in financial leadership would be instrumental as the company continues to invest in and expand its European network to meet rising demand for digital connectivity infrastructure.
Alexakis will continue to support the transition before stepping down from her role later this year.
