iOS 17 is coming! 10 new highlights!

These new features are expected to significantly improve the user experience.

Apple today released the highly anticipated iOS 17 update, bringing users more than 100 new features, from StandBy to adaptive voice control. This update includes many new features, with the exception of AirDrop updates, the Journal app, and the Apple Music partnership.

Here are some of the highlights:

1. Person poster:

The Contact Poster feature introduced with iOS 17 allows personalized images to be used during incoming phone calls. Users who can add photos or Memoji can use customized background and font options for incoming calls.

2. Live voice messages:

The Live Voicemail feature transcribes voice messages in real time and presents them to users. Users who instantly recognize important voicemails can respond to the call and get in touch. This feature will be a great convenience when you receive calls from unknown numbers.

  1. Standby mode

One of the most striking features of iOS 17 is StandBy. This full-screen view, which provides information that can be viewed remotely when the iPhone is on its side while charging, stands out with its customizable interface. StandBy provides important information such as clock, calendar, weather forecast, music control, and more, and is ideal for use when charging iPhone on a nightlight, kitchen counter, or table.

  1. NameDrop

NameDrop allows iPhone users to quickly share contact information by bringing their phones closer together. This makes it easier to share contact information.

  1. iMessage

With an update to the iMessage app, users can swipe right on a message to send a quick reply. This feature allows users to respond to messages more quickly.

  1. Interactive widgets

iOS 17 comes with interactive widgets. These widgets can be used on the Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy view. Users can use these widgets to mark reminders, control music, and manage accessories in the Home app.

  1. Offline maps

With iOS 17, you can now download maps and use them without your service, perfect for traveling on the subway or long hikes. With iOS 17, Apple Maps gains the ability to download maps for offline use. By downloading a specific map area, users will be able to use offline navigation and locator functions.

  1. Improved auto-correction

The new autocorrect feature is getting a major update with iOS 17. Users will receive more accurate corrected errors and predictions when typing, which will significantly improve the typing experience.

  1. Hey Siri acronym

The “Hey Siri” command to activate Siri is being simplified with iOS 17. From now on, users will only need to say “Siri” to summon Siri and will be able to perform their actions by issuing consecutive commands.

  1. Stickers

The new sticker drawer provides one-stop access to all stickers, from live stickers to emoji and Memoji. This feature makes the messaging experience more fun.

With these new updates, iOS 17 aims to provide users with a more personalized and interactive experience. With these features, iOS 17 promises to provide Apple users with a more powerful and user-friendly operating system.
