A new budget phone from Motorola with a giant battery: Moto G24 Power!

The Motorola Moto G24 Power is the fourth budget phone model the company has announced since the beginning of this year.

Motorola’s new low-cost phone, the Motorola Moto G24 Power, has been officially announced. This device is especially notable for its massive 6,000mAh battery and aims to take an important place among budget smartphones.

Moto G24 Power is the fourth budget-friendly phone model announced by the company since the beginning of this year. Unlike the ‘Moto G Play (2024)’ and ‘Moto G24’ models among these phones, Moto G24 Power stands out with its battery capacity. The 6,000mAh battery capacity surpasses the 5,000mAh battery in the Moto G Power 5G (2023) and the 4,500mAh battery in the Moto G Power (2022).

Motorola

The Moto G24 Power follows in the footsteps of the previously launched Moto G54 Power in India, which also featured a 6,000mAh battery. Although this model seems to be an India-specific product for now, given the path followed by the G54 Power, it may enter the European market in the near future. However, there are no sales expectations for the North American market.

Motorola

The Moto G24 Power features a lower-end Helio G85 processor compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 7020-based G54 Power. It is also designed to feature a 6.56-inch HD+ resolution display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. These specs may be disappointing for some users, but the low-power processor and display can significantly improve battery life.

Motorola

The Moto G24 Power is expected to be available in India from January 30, but the price has not yet been announced. The entry-level model of the phone with 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM is expected to retail for around 10,000 rupees in India. This translates to a price of around $120.

Motorola

Other features include RAM Boost technology, 30W fast charging, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support and pre-installed Android 14 software. Motorola is committed to providing one major OS update and three years of security patches for this model.

On the back, the Moto G24 Power packs a 50MP main camera and a possibly underutilized 2MP macro sensor. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera.
