Contrary to recent rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain its four-camera setup, including an enhanced 3x zoom lens, according to reliable sources.
Clarity on Rumors
Initial reports suggested a reduction to three cameras for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, Ice Universe, a trusted leaker, has confirmed that the upcoming model will continue with four cameras. This includes plans to upgrade the existing 3x zoom module, a feature that has seen little change since the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Camera Technology Evolution
The S25 Ultra’s main camera may feature the 200MP HP2 sensor from earlier versions, upgraded to catch more light. Despite speculations, the 3x lens will remain, contrary to thoughts that improvements to the main camera might render it redundant.
Innovations in Periscope Camera
Samsung is experimenting with an adjustable focal length for the periscope camera. This new feature will allow users to switch between two fixed focal points, advancing beyond the traditional fixed optical zoom.
Anticipation for New Releases
The tech community is also eagerly awaiting other Samsung releases, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 expected this summer, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE and Galaxy S24 FE later in the year.
