iOS 17 Introduces Pet Recognize to the Photos App!

Apple’s iOS 17 update introduces pet recognition in the Photos app, automatically sorting pets like cats and dogs into albums. As a result, the app has renamed the “People” album to “People and Pets.” This feature not only recognizes pets but also improves human identification. Now, the Photos app identifies specific animals, directly placing pets into albums. Users can easily search for their pets and create pet-centric Memories.

Furthermore, Apple has upgraded the Visual Look Up feature significantly. It can now detect food in photos, suggesting recipes from the web. Additionally, it recognizes various symbols, from street signs to dashboard icons and clothing label washing instructions.

Moreover, the Camera app in iOS 17 includes a new leveling feature to ensure landscape photos are correctly aligned.

These updates are among many enhancements designed to enrich the photo experience for iOS 17 users. Apple is also introducing one-tap cropping and an updated photo editing interface, enhancing the overall usability and enjoyment of photos.
