Kia EV3 Introduced with Artificial Intelligence

Kia has unveiled the final version of the Kia EV3 small electric SUV, highlighting its innovative artificial intelligence features and impressive technical specifications. This model is set to launch in South Korea in July and will be available in Europe later this year. The US market release date is yet to be announced.

Key Features and Innovations:

  • First Mass-Produced Electric Vehicle with AI Assistant:
    • The EV3 is the first mass-production electric vehicle to feature Kia’s voice-controlled AI assistant, which is based on ChatGPT. This assistant, first seen in the K4, allows users to plan trips and more. It will be available first in South Korea and then in Europe.
  • Performance and Battery Options:
    • The EV3 offers a driving range of 600 km according to the European WLTP system. The long-range model comes with an 81.4 kWh battery, while a standard model with a 58.3 kWh battery is also planned. The EV3 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 7.5 seconds and uses Hyundai’s E-GMP platform.
  • Interior Design and Technological Features:
    • Inspired by the EV9, the EV3 features two 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, a five-inch panel for HVAC, and a 12-inch heads-up display. It also includes premium streaming apps through LG’s webOS-based car platform and various downloadable themes, including NBA-themed ones.
