Panasonic, a major EV battery supplier to Tesla, is expanding its global market share in the face of increased competition from Chinese and South Korean rivals. While no particular sources were cited, the story suggested that Subaru would consider adopting Tesla’s latest 4680 batteries, for which Panasonic’s energy unit is trying to increase production.
