Samsung Unveils 4 New AI Features Coming to Galaxy S23!

Official website of Samsung shows a number of Galaxy AI features listed as “Coming Soon” for the Galaxy S23 series.

Last month, Samsung announced that Galaxy AI features starting with the Galaxy S24 will also come to older phones. Specifically, models like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Galaxy flagships released in 2023, will receive this update.

Samsung’s official website shows a number of Galaxy AI features listed as “Coming Soon” for the Galaxy S23 series. These features include Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist and Photo Assist.

However, the features that are currently only confirmed for the Galaxy S23 Ultra are also said to be coming to other 2023 models. This means that 2022 models such as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy S22 Ultra will not benefit from this update. Similarly, mid-range devices, such as the Galaxy A54, will not receive this update.

Heads up, Galaxy Fam!

Tech giant has confirmed that all Galaxy S23 series phones will receive Galaxy AI in the first half of the year, as will the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9. However, it’s not yet clear when these updates will arrive.

Among some of the Galaxy AI features, the new Circle to Search feature stands out. This feature makes it easier to search by drawing a circle on the screen using the phone’s home button. Live Translate provides real-time two-way translation, which helps users overcome language barriers during phone calls.

Note Assist allows users to summarize Samsung Notes into a more readable format, while Photo Assist allows users to change various aspects of photos and fill in the gaps with AI.

Samsung’s update may seem quite appealing to users who haven’t used AI technology before. Especially for those who don’t plan to upgrade to newer, feature-packed models, this could make their existing devices even more valuable. With this move, tech giant seems to be aiming to give many users an AI experience.
