As part of an ongoing promotion for its electric vehicles, Tesla has reduced pricing in the United States by between 2% and over 6%, according to information published on its website on Thursday.
The United States is getting ready to pass stricter regulations this month that are anticipated to limit EV tax incentives and the sixth such drop in Tesla’s largest market since the year’s beginning. Since January, the firm has stated that the $7,500 tax credit offered for its basic, rear-wheel drive Model 3 will be reduced due to the stricter U.S. regulations. With a 20% price cut on the basic Model Y, Tesla has set a goal of 1.8 million deliveries this year. Tesla announced first-quarter deliveries of about 423,000 vehicles this week, an increase of barely 4% from the previous quarter.
