The Stories Feature on Telegram Is Now Available to Everyone

Telegram Introduces Editable Stories to All Users

Telegram has taken a huge step forward in the social media scene in honor of its 10th anniversary by making its Stories feature available to all users. This shift comes after the function was initially launched exclusively for Premium customers last month, marking a significant milestone for the site.

Telegram’s distinct editing capability distinguishes it.

One of Telegram’s Stories’ distinguishing qualities is its unique editing functionality. Unlike other social media platforms, where once a narrative is uploaded, it cannot be changed, Telegram allows users to amend various aspects of their stories after they have been published. This game-changing feature allows you to adjust the visibility, captions, on-screen text, stickers, and more without having to delete and repost the story.

Structure that is familiar yet has been customized

While Telegram’s Stories follow a similar layout to other platforms, they also include new customization choices. Users can choose whether their Stories are available to everyone, particular contacts, a small group of friends, or a curated list of close pals. The Stories are placed at the top of the chat list in a readily accessible expandable area.

Furthermore, Telegram’s Stories allow users to customize the longevity of their material, which can range from a few hours to a few days. This gives users control over how long their Stories remain active. Users can also opt to broadcast specific Stories on their profile pages, similar to Instagram’s “Story highlights” function. This increased level of customisation now includes the ability to add captions, links, and tags to Stories, making them richer and more interactive.

Stealth Mode is available to Premium Users.

While Telegram has democratized the Stories feature for all users, Premium members continue to enjoy exclusive privileges. The addition of “Stealth Mode” enables Premium users to wipe their viewing history from stories opened within the last five minutes, improving privacy and secrecy. This feature underscores Telegram’s dedication to improving user experiences and catering to the different needs of its user base.
