Audio brand Vifa is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking product to the market—the ChatMini, a compact and portable smart speaker powered by ChatGPT. Set to launch on August 17th, the ChatMini combines Baidu’s “Wenxin Yiyan” chatbot functionality with ChatGPT’s capabilities, enabling a wide range of diverse and engaging conversations with users.

Beyond its conversational skills, ChatMini also brings a unique emotional touch. The speaker is equipped to offer users comfort, encouragement, and advice based on their emotional state. It can craft personalized poems, lyrics, articles, and other content tailored to individual interests and hobbies. Vifa collaborated with National Photovoltaic Appliances in the development of ChatMini, blending Vifa’s renowned sound quality with National Photovoltaic Appliances’ advanced technology. With a heritage dating back to 1933, Vifa is a Danish audio brand known for its wide array of audio solutions, including speakers, audio systems, and acoustic solutions.
This venture marks a significant stride for Vifa in the AI speaker market. Recognized as the world’s first dual AI smart speaker featuring both ChatGPT and Baidu’s “Wenxin Yiyan”, ChatMini promises an enhanced and intelligent interaction experience. Priced at $259 (about 1,800 RMB), the ChatMini is scheduled for its official release in the United States on August 17th.
