TikTok has been released as a new spatial app for Apple Vision Pro.
YouTube’s official app for Apple’s virtual reality glasses Vision Pro is not yet ready. YouTube initially announced that it would not develop an app for the glasses, but has now changed its mind. However, it is not clear when the app will be released.
Meanwhile, TikTok has gone ahead of YouTube and released its app for Vision Pro. You will now be able to watch TikTok videos in virtual reality. In exciting news, TikTok has released a new spatial app for Apple Vision Pro.
TikTok is famous for making five hours on phones feel like five minutes. We can’t even imagine how it will be on glasses. Because there is no clear time display on the glasses. So, while you plan to open TikTok for just a few minutes, you might realize that the Vision Pro’s full battery is drained and you’ve never left TikTok in between.
TikTok has beaten both YouTube and Netflix in getting apps onto the Vision Pro. We wonder if social media content will be one of the Vision Pro’s main use cases. After all, that’s what phones are mostly used for these days, so why not?
