This update meets the expectations of Xiaomi users and creates great excitement on millions of devices.
China-based technology giant Xiaomi has recently started to release HyperOS, an important update for its popular devices. The new HyperOS brings an important interface update that improves the user experience by increasing system optimization. This update meets the expectations of Xiaomi users and creates great excitement on millions of devices.
Following the release of HyperOS, many Xiaomi models have already received this update. Popular series like Redmi Note 13, Redmi 13C (POCO C65), and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (POCO X4 Pro 5G) benefit from HyperOS. Xiaomi has begun sending out HyperOS for select smartphones that have yet to receive the upgrade.
Although Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 13 series with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, users had anticipated that this series would come with HyperOS by default. Xiaomi is gradually updating the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 13C/POCO C65 with HyperOS.
On the other hand, the POCO X4 Pro 5G model, announced in 2022, initially featured Android 11-based MIUI 13 and later received an update to Android 13-based MIUI 14. Now, this model is starting to receive the Android 13-based HyperOS update. However, the POCO X4 Pro 5G will no longer receive major interface updates, only new security patches.
The phones receiving updates are as follows:
The Android 14-based HyperOS update is rolling out to the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi 13C, while the POCO X4 Pro 5G is receiving the Android 13-based HyperOS update.
To sum up, the HyperOS update for the POCO X4 Pro 5G is currently exclusive to Mi/POCO Pilots only. However, Xiaomi states that all users will have access to this update in a few weeks.
