The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models are expected to be launched in China first.
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi announced on Weibo that the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series will be launched later this month. It also announced that this series will feature the Leica brand and that Leica will provide the “best in the field” Summilux lens for mobile phones.
New image sensor surprise
The Xiaomi 14 series will also offer a new image sensor. However, no detailed information has yet been given about which phone will have this special sensor and the purpose of this sensor.
Xiaomi 14 devices are expected to offer powerful performance. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which Qualcomm is expected to unveil at its event in Hawaii on October 24, will be used in this series. Xiaomi founder Lei Jun, as always, emphasized the strong relationship between Xiaomi and Qualcomm, confirming that the new flagship devices will arrive in the near future.
Launch and release date
The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models are expected to be launched first in China. These devices, which will be equipped with the new HyperOS operating system, will probably be available to users worldwide in the first weeks of 2024.
