According to reports, WhatsApp is developing a feature for corporate accounts to rate messages. Users will be able to rate communications from companies and provide feedback to them as a result of this functionality. According to reports, this functionality is now available to Android beta users, and a few iPhone users have also reported seeing it. User ratings will be expressed as a number of stars, with five stars being the highest score and one representing the lowest. Direct feedback is not currently available for WhatsApp Business accounts.
According to WABetaInfo’s investigation into WhatsApp for Android 2.21.22.7, a new message rating function has been discovered. This feature is now available to beta users, and it may also be available to earlier beta users. Some users of WhatsApp beta for Android get it, but the features tracker reports that some users of WhatsApp beta for iOS are also receiving it.
According to the tracker, message rating is only available to WhatsApp Business users. If you receive a message from a company account, this functionality will not be accessible. You may anonymously score a message, however WABetaInfo says WhatsApp cannot see what you’ve evaluated since the feedback is private. According to reports, the function doesn’t interfere with end-to-end encryption, so rated messages aren’t accessible to WhatsApp.
When it comes to sending messages from businesses, WhatsApp and business accounts may be able to view general comments, but they won’t know who provided it. WhatsApp mentions in its rating warning that these ratings are meant to assist companies in improving their customer communications.
Tap and hold a message in a WhatsApp Business conversation to launch a dialog box where you may rate the communication you just received. Previously, the’report’ option appeared alongside ‘copy,’ allowing users to designate erroneous communications as spam and then delete them. For beta users, a new ‘rate’ option is now available as well.
