The Vision Neue Klasse reflects BMW’s deep-rooted design heritage and gives us a glimpse into the future of the brand. This concept sedan is a break from the recent SUV and crossover trend, offering a traditional three-box sedan silhouette. This design pays homage to BMW’s most iconic sports sedans, such as the 2002, E30 3 Series or E46.
Eye-catching design details
At the front, BMW’s familiar kidney grille gets a wide horizontal interpretation. As an electric vehicle, there is no need for a large air intake, so this grille design is more of an aesthetic touch.
The interior of the Vision Neue Klasse offers a remarkable design. Bright yellow velvet seats pay homage to the design of the ’70s and ’80s. Another detail that shows the interior’s focus on sustainability is the floor covered with low-pile fur made from recycled materials.
Panoramic Vision display and state-of-the-art interior
One of the most striking features of the Vision Neue Klasse is the BMW Panoramic Vision display, which is positioned at the bottom of the windshield. This large screen allows drivers to view a variety of driving and vehicle status information, navigation and notifications. It also integrates with BMW’s Intelligent Digital Assistant to further enhance the driving experience.
Electric technology of the future: Sixth generation BMW eDrive
The Vision Neue Klasse is also a precursor to BMW’s sixth-generation BMW eDrive electrification technology. This technology is said to utilize a new generation of batteries with higher energy density, resulting in 30 percent more range, 30 percent faster charging and 25 percent more efficiency.

Vision Neue Klasse unveiled at the 2023 IAA Mobility International Motor Show. BMW confirmed that many new technologies and sustainable production practices will be realized in the Neue Klasse series production vehicles in 2025.
