New Google Device Spotted on Geekbench 5!

A Google device with the code name “Cheetah” has appeared on Geekbench. This device, powered by the Tensor G4 processor, is thought to be the forerunner of the Pixel 9 or Pixel Fold 2.

A Google device codenamed “Cheetah” was seen in tests on Geekbench. The identity of this device running with Tensor G4 processor and 12 GB RAM is a matter of curiosity. Although the device is likely to be Pixel 9 or Pixel Fold 2, there has been no official statement from Google yet.

According to Geekbench results, the Tensor G4 does not offer a significant performance boost over the Tensor G3 used in the Pixel 8. Despite this, the new processor is expected to offer better battery life and more advanced AI capabilities.

Clue to Pixel 9 and Pixel Fold 2?

There is a good chance that the Cheetah is a prototype of either the Pixel 9 or the Pixel Fold 2, and the likelihood of this happening is significantly strong. During the later half of the year 2024, it is projected that both of these gadgets will be made available to the public. Taking this into consideration, the device that was seen on the system of Geekbench may offer some insight into the new models that are being released.
