Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac Reveals New Features and Improved Integration

Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac is now out, bringing a slew of new features and performance enhancements to this popular virtualization software. Notably, it supports Apple’s future macOS Sonoma operating system and allows password-free sign-in with Touch ID integration.

Touch ID Integration for Seamless Sign-In

Parallels Desktop 19’s smooth interaction with Apple’s Touch ID is a remarkable feature. Mac users may now use their fingerprint to confirm logins and Apple Pay purchases. Touch ID may now be used to sign in to Windows virtual machines for users who have a secure Windows login and password, speeding the login procedure and increasing security.

MacOS Sonoma Compatibility Improved

Parallels Desktop 19 is completely compatible with Apple’s upcoming macOS Sonoma. It incorporates redesigned Shared Printing using the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). This update makes printing from Windows apps easier and less complicated, needing minimal setup.

Better Performance on Apple Silicon Macs

For Apple silicon Mac users, the updated version promises an enhanced virtual machine (VM) experience. With Trackpad integration, dynamic resolution adjustments and support for familiar multitouch gestures give a more intuitive and responsive VM experience.

Pro Edition Users Have Remote Access

Parallels Desktop 19 Pro Edition customers can use port forwarding to remotely access a macOS Sonoma 14 VM. This functionality is quite useful for individuals who use VMs hosted on Amazon EC2 Mac cloud instances, increasing flexibility and accessibility.

Revised Design for Easier Navigation

Parallels Desktop 19 has a new design in addition to these functional improvements. The software tries to make navigating easier with a new app icon and a redesigned user experience. Native dialogs simplify interaction with the application, making it more user-friendly.

Parallels Desktop 19 illustrates the company’s dedication to seamless integration, greater performance, and enhanced user experiences. As virtualization continues to play an important part in modern computing, these improvements are intended for both home and commercial users looking for dependable and efficient virtualization solutions.
