Apple’s Fall Launch Event is scheduled for September 12th.
Apple has officially revealed the date and time of its annual fall launch event, which will take place on September 12 at 10 a.m. PT. This event, dubbed “Wonderlust,” follows Apple’s usual schedule for introducing new goods, most notably the iPhone.
iPhone 15 and More Are on the Way
The iPhone 15 will most likely be at the forefront of this presentation, with four models expected: basic and larger Plus versions in the bottom tier, and more advanced Pro and Pro Max models in the top tier. In addition, Apple routinely launches new items alongside the iPhone, such as the Apple Watch, AirPods, and iPads.
Beyond the Apple Vision Pro
The Apple Vision Pro, an AR/VR headset announced at WWDC 2023, is one of the most anticipated devices. While it is not expected to be released until early 2024, Apple may share additional information about this ground-breaking technology. This headset has a steep price tag of $3,500 and is primarily aimed at companies.
Possible Service Announcements
Apple’s event could also include service announcements, such as improvements to Apple Music, TV Plus, Fitness, and iCloud. The specifics are unknown.
Reading the Apple Tea Leaves
Although the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9 are expected, Apple may surprise us with surprises within these lineups. According to rumors, the iPhone 15 will use USB-C across the board. The A16 bionic chipset is expected to power the Pro and Pro Max models, while the basic iPhone 15 and Plus models may stick with the A15 processor.
Notably, there is no mention of a new iPhone SE, and a new regular iPad appears to be on the way. It’s unknown whether the Apple Watch Ultra or iPhone SE (second generation) will receive updates.
While the event’s focus is on the Vision Pro, Apple is known for surprising attendees at the last minute. As a result, Apple’s presentations always leave room for the unexpected.
