Leaked pictures reveal HMD Global’s next smartphone’s design and features, which are intriguing.
HMD Global is the business that has been producing Nokia–branded smartphones since 2016, and their contract will expire in 2025. Recently, there have been indications that the company is going through big changes, and it was previously rumored that the company would introduce its own branded products. Now, leaked photographs of the company’s first phone provide insight into its design and expected functionality.
According to the leaked pictures, HMD Global’s upcoming phone appears to be a budget-friendly device. The rear panel houses a rectangle camera module with two sensors and an LED flash unit. The rear panel also includes HMD branding in the center. The device’s bezel appears to be slightly flat, with the power and volume controls on the right and the SIM tray on the left.

The front of the HMD Global-branded phone features a center-aligned perforated screen design. The leaked image shows the device in black with a matte finish. The report does not disclose any other information regarding the smartphone.
Last November, two phones with model numbers N159V and TA-1585 were discovered in the IMEI database. One of these might be the device depicted in the leaked photograph. However, critical characteristics are currently unknown. Earlier rumors stated that the company could release its own-brand phones in India as early as April. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
