According to the information shared, it has been claimed that hackers gained access to Microsoft Teams chats, Ubisoft SharePoint server, Confluence, and MongoDB Atlas.
Ubisoft successfully thwarted hackers who attempted to steal 900GB of data during a security breach last week. During this breach, the hackers aimed to access a large amount of data, including Rainbow Six Siege user information.
Ubisoft detected the breach 48 hours later, revoked the hackers’ access, and thus prevented data theft. However, according to VX-Underground, the hackers’ attempt to obtain Rainbow Six Siege user data was unsuccessful. It remains unclear whether the hackers accessed any sensitive information before Ubisoft detected the situation and cut off all access.
